A maximum of 20 percent of our students can be enrolled in our independent study program. Students may choose to enroll in Independent study due to student learning preference, migration, illness, family needs, work requirements, or other factors impacting their ability to complete their studies in person. The Charter School will adopt an Independent

This program requires students to attend school twice a week. A credentialed teacher will oversee all independent study students, and develop a schedule of appointment times with the student and family. Students must regularly attend their appointments , and if a student is continually absent for their appointment, they may be removed from the program.  Students may also participate in our after school tutoring program without making an appointment. The independent study teacher will make arrangements  for additional support from core content teachers.

The teacher and the student will create a schedule of assignments and due dates based on the student's required classes.
