Independent Study

San Benito County Polytechnic Academy is committed to developing a program to meet the needs of each student. The Independent Study Program will often be a hybrid offering students the opportunity to take courses in person as they see fit. These courses include A-G, CTE, and Dual Enrollment courses. We strive to build individualized educational programs that meet each student's needs to the best of our ability.

Based on student needs, instruction will take place in various contexts, including one-on-one, small group, learning lab, classroom cohorts, independent study, and online instruction.

 

A maximum of 20 percent of our students will take a course of study delivered through independent study due to student learning preference, migration, illness, family needs, work requirements, or other factors impacting their ability to complete their studies in person.
